First 2011 Finish

In the middle of January I finished my first stitching project for 2011! It is Victoria Sampler’s Gingerbread Stitching House. I say “finished” but it isn’t truly finished…I have completed the stitching of all of the pieces but have not assembled any of the pieces yet. Who knows when that will actually happen! Here is a picture of the stitched pieces anyway:

For now my stitching focus is on Chatelaine’s Japanese Garden. I am nearly halfway and would love to finish it this year! In looking back through my stitching pictures I realized I have not finished a Chatelaine design since 2008!! I have 8 in progress and would really like to finish them. I started posting on a new Chatelaine blog so that should encourage me to take more progress pictures and post them this year!

Well, I think you’re more than halfway there with the Gingerbread house 🙂 Congratulations on finishing the stitching.

I’ll be seeing you in the new blog! I also have a goal to finish some of my Chatelaine wips this year, there are some that are really not that far from a finish (more than halfway done).

Love it, Jill!! The colors really pop on the fabric. It’ll look so cool when the pieces are all assembled. 😀

    How’s JG going?
